Here we describe how we collect, use and handle some information when you use our Service.
The Service includes a software application users download to a device and a service that
processes the additional dimension of time on our servers.
Organizations established in the EU and processing personal data of EU-based individuals are required to comply with the GDPR as of May 25, 2018. The GDPR updates and harmonizes the framework for processing personal data in the European Union, and brings with it new obligations for organizations and new rights for individuals.
We are GDPR Compliant
Timyo is fully committed to the requirements of the GDPR. We continue to monitor new guidance on best practices for implementing the requirements of the GDPR. We have taken these new requirements to heart and made changes to our products, contracts and policies to ensure that we are fully in compliance. Timyo services comply with the GDPR as of May 25, 2018.
Which information we collect and for what kind of usage
We collect and process your email address to provide you the Service and to communicate with you.
Timyo does not use your email address for any other purpose.
Timyo does not read your email contents and does not store any information related to the content of your emails.
We only process additional informations that provide you the time dimension in your message (for today, for tomorrow, for next week etc…) and what kind of action (reply, read, action).
We are not in the business of selling or renting users data. We will not share data with third parties outside Timyo and affiliates except in the following narrow circumstances:
Others working for Timyo
If you choose to utilize support services, you may be asked to provide certain information (type of email account, type of device, description of usage etc). We will never ask for, nor should you ever send us the password to your email account. All communication with our support team is completely private, and we never use information collected for uses not related to support and application improvement.
We collect anonymous usage statistic to improve Timyo’s functionalities and adoption.
If we sell or reorganize all or part of our business, we may need to disclose those anonymous user informations to a third party who acquires our assets, as permitted by law.
Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information
We respect your privacy rights and therefore you may contact us at any time and we shall work diligently to respect your choices and requests regarding your Personal Information. The purpose of the list stipulated below is to allow Users and Contacts to exercise their rights under applicable privacy and data protection regulations:
Right of Access
You, on you only, may request to access your Personal Information and obtain a copy of Personal Information which is being processed by Timyo. In the event that you request to know what Personal Information is being processed by us, we will provide you with the following information free of charge: purposes of processing; categories of Personal Information processed; recipient(s) of Personal Information; length of time during which the Personal Information will be stored; your privacy rights; and information on data transfers. Such requests will be made by sending a request to email@example.com, please make sure to provide your relevant details.
Right of Erasure
You may at any time withdraw your consent to our processing of your Personal Information. In this case, if there is no overriding legitimate interest for continuing the processing of your Personal Information (e.g. to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, etc.), we will erase your data. Such withdrawal of consent will be made by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your relevant details.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive the Personal Information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Such request will be made by sending an email with your relevant details to email@example.com
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are collecting or processing your Personal Information not in accordance with the laws, you can complain to the applicable data protection authority.
Law & Order
We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of Timyo or our users; or (d) protect Timyo's property rights.
Personal Information are stored and processed in France (E.U), in highly available (Tier IV) datacenter, managed by ISO 27001 organization. The location might change with respect to the above policy without further notice.
